We are a well-established, medium-sized firm of building contractors specialising in shopfitting, and founded back in 1977. We currently undertake all aspects of building and joinery works with a heavy emphasis on our specialist area of shopfitting. We presently act as main contractors for several high street retailers, local authorities and councils, and schools and colleges, carrying out contracts with values up to six figures. From our East Lancashire base close to the heart of the North West motorway network, we are able to offer a fully nationwide shopfitting service to our customer base of household name retailers.

  Our workforce is fully trained and experienced in the shopfitting industry. All operatives have either received or are working towards accreditation to the CITB Construction Skills Certification Scheme.   We operate from a purpose-designed, 5,000 square foot facility which is equipped with modern, high quality woodworking machinery from which we can produce quality bespoke shopfitting items and manufactured joinery to the highest standards.
  
  
• Understanding our Sector
  The shopfitting industry faces many pressures and demands not always present in other sectors of the construction industry. In many cases, unsociable hours are required to allow uninterrupted trade. Deadlines are critical to avoid lost trade, and in many cases, to meet licensing criteria. Increasing technology demands in the high street dictate that shopfitters must understand the requirements of EPOS and other IT solutions upon which industry is becoming increasingly reliant. Through the experience gained over many years and continuing training, our management team and workforce have a full understanding of the unique problems faced in the industry, and are able to overcome these hurdles to deliver a quality service.

  It is our policy to keep abreast of the times, and to take on board quickly the ever-changing requirements of our industry. Through our membership of the Federation of Master Builders, the Construction Industry Training Board, the National House Building Council, together with our accreditation under the National Britannia SAFE Contractor Scheme, we are able to be aware of, and act upon, the ever-changing environment within which our industry exists.
